Simple Gold Beaded Bracelet for You

297

For the tutorial on how to make this simple yet pretty gold beaded bracelet, you can use the waxed cotton turquoise and gold beads. But, you can always make some adjustments on the colors and materials for the bracelet. You can use metals, hemp or leather.

Here are the materials that you need to prepare for the project.

  • Gold spacer round beads
  • Gold stardust stripe round beads
  • Gold puff star charm
  • Gold plated saucer beads
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors
  • Strong glue
  • 5mm gold cord ends along with the extension chain and lobster clasp
  • 1mm waxed cord turquoise

Step 1. Take the waxed cord and cut four threads with 9 1/2” long each. Then, tie the knot of all cords at one end. Leave the other ends loose as they will be inserted with the gold beads.

Step 2. Start inserting the beads into the cords. The round beads have quite big holes as you can insert two cords at the same time or just one time. It’s all up to your preference.

Step 3. Make gaps between the round beads and the alternate beads.

Step 4. Connect all loose ends and tie them all together with one knot. Then, measure that the length of  one knot to other knot needs to be 6”. You can also use the measuring tape to measure the wrist and to determine the length of the bracelet so that it won’t be too loose at the end. Cut the excess cords from each end and then insert each end into the cord cap which is already filled with glue.

Step 5. Let the glue sit for 24 hours and after 24 hours, you can wear your bracelet. It is not suggested to wear your bracelet directly after it is being glued because it needs quite some time for the glue to harden. If you keep insisting on wearing your bracelet, probably the cord caps can loose and make the bracelet all messed up.

Step 6. To make the gold star bracelet, you only need three layers or strings. You just have to thread the beads as you want. Don’t forget to tie both ends into tght knots. After you have finished threading the beads, you can trim the excess cords from both ends of the embroidery cord. Repeat the same step as how to attach the cord end into the cord cap.

This tutorial is totally simple, isn’t it? If you want to, you can choose other cord colors and also other metals for the bracelet beads. Make your own bracelet with any materials that you want!
